Here I go through the basic story that is being told by the film - the film narrative. Beginning, Middle, and End
Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3
Equilibrium, Disequilibrium, and New Equilibrium
Here I consider the film as a basic narrative in light of general expectations. Will someone get the story, understand the narrative, and like the experience of watching the film.
For those who are really invested in this genre and formula of narrative storytelling -- will they like the experience of viewing this film. Is this a film that will hit all the beats and themes the fan will expect.
In this section I look for a central theme or point that is being made by the film narrative. Is it compelling? Is it universal or just specific to certain situations?
